The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? #BJIFF2021主竞赛单元#中国美术学院作品，美术实在了得。同《影》一样的水墨化色彩，解决了《影》里脸部发绿的问题，这种去饱和的色彩还挺符合战争题材。剧作方面还是散了点，导致影片内涵很浅，如此拍电影，讲故事似乎成了一件形式主义的事情。

千万句吐槽，我只能说一句：主创们是真不会讲故事。
“每个人都有面孔”，但每个人的面孔都被冰冷的暗色调、层次缺失的低照度摄影、复杂低效的长镜头调度（aka“导演的美学追求”）压得消失不见，本质上与常规主旋律没差。
有几个亮点，总服务质量略低，不知道是不是因为东北话的原因
剧情还是完整的，虽然也用了夸张的手法，但是至少是好好讲了故事的。
合着主题就是，得接纳犯错误的人员，但是不保证不犯错误呗

演员们都不错，演技在线。有笑点，但逻辑不严谨，叙事感觉也有些零散。可惜没有一宿的二手玫瑰
粗粝却细腻。在商业大片队列之外有这么一部，它的存在值得注意。
随份子就是一张彩票，是个好思路，说不定人家就发了。

我是真的不喜欢东北题材，可能是我的口味跟不上新的时尚。
