The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 普羅米修斯盜火種式的故事，包裹在充滿東方美學的京劇美術中，毫無違和感。只可惜現在拍不出來過不了審，最起碼寺廟的那段戲，就會被佛教協會叨逼叨。
优秀的有点诡异的动画，老狐狸，俏狐狸，单腿狐狸。
开场配乐一出我激动得几乎当场决定要二刷。对于80后来说，这是真真正正的“爷青回”。动画设计十分精妙，看得很感慨。然而，有个巨大的槽点我真是不吐不快：蛋生全程每一声“师父”字幕打出的都是“师傅”，真是太不应该了。小和尚叫老和尚也是“师傅”，弄得我非常闹心，既想听蛋生喊师父，又不想看到大银幕上的师傅……院线版多出的11分钟是一则小小的幕后纪录，挺好，很感动。20211106北京槐房万达

从美学到表达都属于特定时期、特定班底的特殊产物，对于如今所谓的国产动画，其实没太大启示性。
真的很不明白，特别是在封建社会，为什么人过得那么苦难那么屈辱，妖精还要想办法修炼成人？？？

小时候看是看狐狸精 长大了再看 水墨画的美感 内容的讽刺性 制作的巧思 动情的配音 经典并且一点都没有过时 …最后的纪录片看得也好感动 『奇、趣、美』

音乐和美术好评，修复的魅力也好评，故事稍微有点虎头蛇尾
