The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 像在观赏记忆中的倒影，风起时漾开波纹，竟是孩童恶作剧般的搅动。光线如刻刀雕出几抹剪影，随即展开变调，肃穆的葬礼需要一把瓜子花生，歌剧拉开帷幕，滑稽剧热闹散场。
今日还是青春韶华，明日就垂垂老矣，伤感又豁达的愁思和告别.

爱尔兰外景后加工。亚瑟堡应该是蒂珀雷里郡的凯尔城堡，进入绿教堂之前那个缴纳忠诚的堡是奧法利郡的Charleville。这些古堡，都因为维护和旅游运营，没有被片中直陈的恐惧绿色重新吞噬和循环。电影的气氛营造和节奏控制相当不错，纵使完全没了解过亚瑟王传说和之后的英诗，看不到好多知识和隐喻，也算能伴随享受这个失去荣誉和尊严的逆向成长之旅吧。那就当是绿叶对根的情谊吧。
