The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 本以为是像《钢琴师》那样的反转悬疑片，结果是《辩护人》这样的人权斗争片。片子本身的节奏没什么问题，正气凛然。不过律师的破案过程过于平顺。不过类似这样的揭露黑暗面的影片，国产的还是应该再多一些。
要比《辩护人》要艰难许多~
真实事件改编，无时无刻不在提醒观影者这个世界的阴暗与荒诞。

从全局来看人权斗士可能永远不会完全胜利，但每一场个体的战役都是对生命价值的殊死捍卫。
印度版《辩护人》。首先赞扬一下印度电影人一直以来一丝不苟的工匠精神，虽然这也可能与国情有关，但这满满当当将近三个小时的无拖沓剧情，没有一丝的多余剪辑，真是让人肃然起敬。
