The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 皮克斯式拥抱现实，接受自我。Again。迪斯尼式卖玩具人物，Again。
卡司意外的强大啊，这次大概猜到了剧情但是又有一点被骗到的感觉，不是濑户康史演这角色的话会更好看一点。看的全程一直感叹这种水平上春节档一定能大爆。
啥玩意，如果当年Andy看的是这部电影就只会买那只猫了，买巴斯光年干嘛
就。。。反转太多的话，也会疲劳的。。。不过配角很给力！
缺点是情感逻辑的生硬，能感受到爱的脉脉流动，但作为情节推动动机尚弱。
题外话，90年代与20年代，CG技术的腾飞发展。非裔主角，lgbt元素，都反应了时代之下的种种变化。
真合家欢电影了，太普通，纯粹变成好莱坞工业制品。网上热议的⚢kiss，真的就一闪而过的镜头，我感觉1秒钟都没有，要不是网上吵成这样，我可能都不会注意到。
我麻依然是如此的，如此的，美丽！在电影里看见花花竟然没有很出戏。
作为动画电影有点无聊，作为皮克斯有点“灾难”。完全失去了以往皮克斯的灵气，创作力被扼住了喉咙一样。人们喜欢巴斯光年，是喜欢他身为玩具却拥有纯粹美好的品格，喜欢那份被寄托了人性最纯真的想象力。当这一身份被赋予更真实的“人性”，反而失去了灵气，而皮克斯美轮美奂的想象力也因为迎合主题而奄奄一息。
靠麻酱的脸撑下去，这个系列没有好剧本真的可以停停了，sp要比正片还多了
每次都是从一开始布局反转，已经审美疲劳了，本集的亮点反而在黑帮老大，感觉已经因恨而生爱了
除开那些政治正确的东西，作为一个toystory的爱好者还是挺失望的。
开篇点题：讨厌菜鸟！一会一个失误的剧情，很破坏故事节奏，简直要看不下去了！很讨厌！白瞎了这么好的动画质感！
乏善可陈吧，从E01到浪漫篇再到英雄篇，赤星你终于还是被驯服了。
达子又来了，长泽雅美又来了，带着她那绝不淑女和大妈型的体态又来了。我的天，岁月催人老，可长泽雅美催自己老啊。标准的欺诈师电影，我猜错了小猫，看错了老BOSS，阿部宽以照片出演外明明新垣结衣也以照片出演了，怎么会真人不对呢？这部电影看得还是很过瘾的，只是小少爷太惨了。
看的过程中大概已经知道后续发展了，但还是很好玩的一部电影。7分。
这个系列已经模式化了，主要来看麻酱变装，彩蛋的兔子萌化我了啊啊啊！只能出现在台词里的杰西和star让我好想抹泪ToT
这部真的差强人意，出轨男让人不适，剧情也太牵强了。不是我猜不到全员皆演戏，而是这个脑洞有点脱离实际。长泽雅美依然很美，但这个造型也过于随意了。两个小时还穿插回忆和ab方，强行注水适合快进。
既定好设定后从后往前推剧情发展，所以看个乐就好，别太认真…不过它这个糊弄程度不如剧版的好啊，因为你能感觉到不对劲，但是这种全是“假的”，确实让观众来不及逻辑上的思考了。
不知道弄个“1995年拍的电影”的设定是为了什么。空欢喜一场。以为是会像 Starship Troopers 那样的电影，事实上是没灵魂的 2020s 玩具广告。
