以半虚构的方式揭露所谓民主政治龌龊勾当，这在韩国电影中已然是一个成熟的类型题材。相较于《铁雨》、《南山的部长们》、《王者》等作品，本片侧重于展现操弄选举的手法，然而娱乐性导向过于凸显，以至于情节经不起推敲，角色近乎纸片人。
