The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. lu'lu终究是幸运的，最后被领养了，离开了残酷的工作和任务，被爱与温情包围后，也会逐渐淡化那些经历战争后的创伤吧。虽然片尾说是“in memory of lulu”，但感觉对于退役军人的救赎和治愈更多一些。
在描述狗狗的电影里属于比较一般的了，情节不够感人，狗狗形象的刻画不够立体，强行煽情。
有狗狗元素的公路电影样板戏，每一幕都似曾相识，没有滋味。
人与狗的电影看得不少，多数都突出了狗的灵性，难得看部剧主角并不在于狗，Love Yourself。
情节有一幕是车子抛锚，风雨交加的夜晚，猛男和狗子躲进了一间可以避雨的旧房子。猛男屈坐在一个小凳子上，而狗子舒适地趴在沙发上。猛男胸肌一直在剧烈跳动，这是因为淋雨后身体冷到发抖，但却还在温柔地给狗子读情诗。
肌肉真好看啊（不是）。狗狗的眼神真的太令人怜爱了，好想养一只充满安全感的大狗勾。中间男主装瞎带狗狗住酒店那段很搞笑哈哈，其他段落比较一般，只能说男主比较幸运，一路遇到的都是好人。结局很温情，人与狗实现双向救赎，希望每一只狗狗都有快乐温暖的归宿。
要说很好看 其实并没有 只是这个类型很赞值得鼓励

看过原版之后觉得这部有点吵了，符合美国人特质。

很棒的一部美国老兵与动物的公路片，钱宁塔图姆的形象很适合这个角色！
The Guilty本身执行得还算比较成功，Antoine Fuqua的节奏控制能力以及Jake Gyllenhaal的实力还是能够让美版有足够吸引人的点，但也仅限于没看过原版的观众，而珠玉在前，剧本和电影形式本身其实并不适合进行翻拍。
