H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival® is proud to present DEAD TONGUES our first Feature presentation on DVD, and the Winner of the 2016 Best Feature award. Following the mysterious suicide of her former lover, a woman teams up with his estranged twin brother to unearth the uncanny events preceding her ex-boyfriend's death. Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's short story, "Facts Concerning the Late Arthur Jermyn and His Family," this film embodies all the things we value most in independent film and is an impressive example of doing a lot with very little. The film's strength lies in the storytelling, excellent performances, and smart choices about what to show and what to leave to your imagination, unlike conventional Lovecraft adaptations which fail due to overwrought special effects and scripts that just don't get cosmic horror right. Also on the disc are two bonus short films: "Ink" by Ashlea Wessel "Beast in the Cave" by Cameron McCasland Approx runtime 105 minutes NTSC, region 0, English, no subtitles. Dead Tongues was made possible through crowdfunding, grants, and Northwestern University's student group, Applause for a Cause.

虽然很喜欢安志杰，但是他太惨了，也没啥好剧本。。。这部剧bug真的太多了。。。打斗还不错
画风很可爱，故事发展在意料之外又在预料之中，配音也很贴，同场的小朋友都看的很开心。
还行吧 在宾馆陪儿子随便看看的 他还挺喜欢 还笑来着 我也看一乐 看到一半发现里面的中国元素有点多 才知道是中国动画片。制作得不错呢 就是中间那段合唱可以再更优秀一点 有点糙～
但是仅仅也就只有打戏不错
国庆溜娃，把娃给看哭了，没想到小朋友泪点这么低
声音细节处理的挺到位的！
挺一般的，而且缺陷男主这个设定作为卖点也比较过时，其余的也没有什么新意。
这片毁在女主手上，演技又尬又烂。
动作设计还是比较凌厉有力的，安志杰的表演还是很不错的，过去他老演反派，但我觉得他人很帅，动作又潇洒漂亮，不知道那么多导演主要看中了他什么而让他演反派？女主竟然是反派，动作还可以，但表演有些生猛了……故事倒是完整，但有bug，比如金刚的衣服一会有血渍，一会儿没有，希望但要注意细节
槽点不少，国产低配版《小丑女》加《飓风营救》……
制作相当不错啊，国产动画现在可以的啊，还挺有意思的呢

能在看剧的过程中收获一些别样的知识点
最后的感情戏以及环形蛋duck不必。。实在不科学，虽然动画片不用讲究科学，但起码讲点逻辑。
作为网络电影，足够有诚意，完成度也很好，剧情的推进也不错。除了某些地方的特效敷衍。剧本的一些硬伤。搞笑的桥段也恰到好处。
No.2491 是设定在了哪个国家呀，真是云里雾里的。
刘德华瞎了能开车，安志杰瞎了能开枪。叨叨承包了本片所有笑点，作为网络电影这可以及格了。
动作戏枪战戏看起来好热闹，实际上假的离谱，狗屁不通，毫无逻辑，烂的程度没有词来形容。
很久前的业务观影。译制版的声音有点奇怪，原声又不太适应中国市场。很喜欢大闹上海那一段，有一种“锚定中国市场”的错觉。笑料包袱也都大多围绕“甜甜圈”的外型展开，拒绝了台词里融梗的顽疾，算是比较特别
