The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 克隆人替代本体的道德伦理困境其实只是本片的手段，而绝非目的，电影真正关注的，应该是英年早逝的人如何体面的离开，如何让关心的人继续原来的生活。如果从这个角度切入，电影在美学和主题上就有足够的先进性了。可惜这个手段的论证明显不足，光靠男主角的表演，本片是无法称为佳作的。

好久没看到这么有意思能够让我力荐的软科幻了，请静心观赏。
我觉得这个设想其实很沉重，大概就是善意的谎言和残忍的真相的博弈，主人公最后选择了善意的谎言，因为对妻子和孩子的爱。但我想我应该会选择残酷的真相，因为我觉得谎言永远都是谎言，人总是需要面对的，everything。

Swan Song is an evocative sci-fi drama with more than an essence of Black Mirror about it. It makes you weep and think about certain aspects of life. Extremely well acted but I kept expecting a twist before the end that sadly never came.

对影片中的科幻元素还是蛮…无奈的。太多《黑镜》的风格化的设定，导致最后的成片会让我感觉有些索然无味。也只有Ali的表演才能唤醒我的兴趣
