Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
影片为数不多的亮点只剩下转场配乐。
其实布景和故事是很好的，整个结构、情节推进、人物一个个进入，就是没当作电影拍好。电影，有电影的叙事方式，这部电影的差距，还是在导演的功底。
缺点也比较明显，如手法较重复、节奏略冗长。类似影片《夜·店》。。。
10月以来最精彩的院线电影，单场景低成本多反转黑色喜剧。
剧本杀，而且全员恶人。许多情节看似突兀，回想起来确实又交代过，想玩黑色幽默吧又不具备那个艺术细菌，新晋导演的牛刀小试，勉强及格了，6.0/10。
导演挺有想法，但倒没有惊喜，一些运镜拖慢了节奏。而且结尾的反转其实不太熟通。
真不敢想象宁浩当年的代表作放在今天得改成什么德行
感觉和《无名之辈》有点像，最近还挺喜欢这种一个室内就完成的片子，不断反转，挺过瘾的。
还不错。几个演员都挺好的。主题我还是很喜欢的。
其实就是利用编剧和观众不对等的信息差加上打乱时间线来讲故事，但因为大家还是自己，所以严格意义上没悬疑什么事。故事很简单，要填充地太多所以显得松散。窦骁最后把头发撸到后面那里也太帅了吧！给前女友看看就没这些事了吧
我觉得挺好，黑色幽默，悬疑，犯罪，感动都有了，过程和叙事方法很有点罗生门的味道。结局好人有好报虽然落俗套，但皆大欢喜。

❷出现一堆小孩的时候，有点震惊了，万万没想到。
虽然是没花钱看的，但电影确实没有六十分，说是新人导演，看来还需要多锻炼，都是不错的演员，片子还是不推荐，窦骁从山楂树到现在这么多年了，演技还是没啥进步！除了最后那段，其他时间都是恍恍惚惚的，不知道在干嘛？！片子虽然情节一直在反转，但是节奏偏慢，看的有点困，无聊的时候只能喝水…还有看表…结局确实没想到…但是感觉也没娱乐到我…笑点基本我都没感觉…节奏有点像话剧…
故事的设定很悬浮，演员的表演到是很不错。结尾的主题升华非常公式化。
叙事比较炫技，但是故事内核相对薄弱，有些地方比较刻意，水平不太行，浪费了好演员。
这个剧本很完美的，草蛇灰线的环环相扣，最后摄像头直播被警察抓扣分的，但是也都明白为了审查吗，但是那个突然认二舅这也太勉强了，直接扣分呀，以及互相打斗那段也是有点扯了，范伟老师演技已经出神入化了，窦骁挺反转的，可惜了要不然可以成为黑马的，三星6分吧！
作为导演处女作完全看不出生涩，多重嵌套的剧情结构用的得心应手，小体量佳作，或许能在两部大片夹击中赢得一席之地；以前真没发现窦骁喜剧天赋还是挺强的。
有些俗套，但是这就像看人一样，确实不应该偏听偏信。
中式幽默，窦骁的人物力度展现的淋漓精致，好歹也是电影学院毕业的，他适合演坏人！！所以，人往往不要相信眼睛看到的。
