The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 动画电影讲了白狼Geralt师傅Vesemir的源起，除了扩展背景外并无太大惊喜。
想来也是很多年没有看过如此cult的片了。并且好像不排斥并且还挺享受。导演的一些梗埋得挺有意思，老爷子真是霸气王者风范，人生就该如此吧。
导演这波嘲讽，把欧洲当下喊口号式的“碳中和”黑出屎了。
高潮部分的二人决战，不论动作还是策略剧情，都将全片推至新的高度，而老家伙最后的敬光明正大的好人，也为他复杂的一生画上了句号，也将未来交给了维瑟米尔。

老爷子维瑟米尔年轻时的故事，缘何从流氓变成狼派导师，在这部动画中给出了解释。依旧是witcher系列的善恶难辨风格。维瑟米尔和青梅竹马的爱情线最打动人，最后命运无情的捉弄令人唏嘘。时间线上和游戏其实对不上，否则杰洛特不会出现
既然有重要的洗澡的戏份，那就还算不错哦~但整体表现非常一般，故事没讲好，打斗也不过瘾。

前半段节奏慢到不像R级片，后半段爽爆！尤其是老爹临死前那段，以为他要去拼命复仇，结果一转却是悠然赴死，棒
一些设定不错。最后猎魔人前辈死前最后一句话，让斗争有了种＂坏人的好在对抗好人的坏＂的感觉，斗争一直存在，平静的生活闪逝其中。
维爹的故事好伤感，回头再来个二周目好了，想他
这么简单的故事硬生生用血浆和互虐撑到了两个小时，前半段的夫妻戏和黑色幽默好看

猎魔人的设定很适合这个画风，类似于Dota龙之血
