The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Alex Garland’s movie style really amazes me, he filmed the british countryside so beautifully. Wanna visa the forest of dean to see the tunnel now. Rory Kinnear got range, he can act every fucking thing, even a new born baby. Jessi Buckley is like made for these kind of movies. we lived under the patriarchy for so long. That birth scene.

有点神秘，有点惊悚，有点爽。喜欢一些对男凝的反抗，杰西巴克利戏路越来越好了。

3.5 摄影牛逼 隐喻生硬 故事太弱；看到不少呼应冯提尔的地方；丽达与天鹅那段的对话让人想到茨维塔耶娃的：她等待刀尖已太久（观影时错记成这个但似乎更贴切：她已在刀尖等待太久）
用电影这种形式展示这世界真是无处不在虫南对女人的恶意，配乐和最后诡异的半个小时真是不错，同时除了那个小孩，仅用一个男演员来塑造小镇上所有的男性，正可谓天下乌鸦一般黑

黑叶芝黑到位了，看的人人版被剪了不少只能靠脑补，高饱和的环境色很容易联想到《湮灭》
节奏缓慢、诡谲、晦涩，无疑是本片最大的问题，但在加兰创造的美学体系中显得非常融洽，由浅至深的几重含义也在荒诞恐怖的故事中完成表达

怎么说呢，是那种好到让你心生厌恶，而心生厌恶恰恰证明了这部电影成功之处的作品。
