The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. Too see others cannot see is kinda lonely

爱情线比较虚，姐弟线姐姐早已死去是全局最大反转，父子线隐藏了妈妈和姐姐去世的秘密和父亲无法直视的过去。
大惊喜。有些画面真的是美哭了。构图有点韦斯·安德森的影子，但整体有自己独特的味道。@TIFF2021 btw导演好帅
允儿是这部电影的亮点了，后面有点强行煽情了吧
电影的色调基本上和画家笔下的猫咪画一致，前期充满了温情梦幻的色彩，后期走向混乱，最后又归于平静。本尼太擅长表演这种神经质的、对现实适应无能的角色了，养猫人又有另一种共鸣。事件选取和表达手法其实挺不错的，作为一部人物传记片，很贴近画家的精神世界了。

后半段有点儿弱……夫人把他比作猫的那一段最感动。
7.9 人融入景以后幻化成了画，真美。ps：72届柏林的海报主体有没有一丝灵感借鉴了路易斯的中后期的猫咪轮廓。

画好看，但没有感受到Electricity。
他的一生是孤独的，被禁锢的，但从某种意义上也是温暖的，肆意的。他遇到了一生的知己，培养了在当时看看来奇特的爱好；他有才能去宣泄内心的种种情感，打破陈规后被世界良好接受。不得不说，在一大群杰出的艺术家中，Louis的一生竟能令人得到几分安慰。
