The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 有点评说强行搞基我十分不同意，这明明是强行不搞基。雷诺兹彻底放弃了作为男人的性感，可惜他与强森的火花不如他和老塞缪，而强森和斯坦森的火花也更爆一点。为什么不让女警官和加朵搞姬？！
安安全全高高兴兴的看个流畅爆米花，剧情是没有的，嘴炮是满满的，反转是必须的，丛林是要有的，打斗是程序的，片酬是顶尖的，风景是漂亮的，就是片子是没有灵魂的。不过能凑这种卡司拍得不无聊，一百部我都捧场。

质量很烂，巨石强森和加朵完全不来电，但是无脑爽片真的很下饭。
像是AI写出来的剧本，告诉它主演名字和题材类型，AI根据演员特性和观众喜好大数据写出来的剧本。 不过盖尔加朵好看就完事儿了 对了，能不能不要对三不管监狱刻板印象了，今年已经看了两个古拉格2.0了。
看的时候一直在想，这个片子适合给艺术生拉个片，讲讲编剧桥段的有效情感写作。虽然故事很老套，但一些情景写得很有巧思，比如女儿把自己头发剪掉，给妈妈做假发，比如姐姐弟弟用手而非用筷子吃饺子，比如刘玫和佩珍吃的那个辣锅。都是有寓意的。这些寓意加起来，一直推到最后的猛烈输出，是让我愿意哭的。其它方面，坏在情绪没有递进，转折很突兀也很仓促。好在没有拍真正关头下的生离死别，让结局显得没有那么廉价。还是那句话：哭可以，但好电影和坏电影的区别就在于，让观众怎么哭。
就是好像十年前没有拿到投资的项目，现在终于配了卡司找到了冤大头。
连《夺宝奇兵》都不玩的剧情怎么会还有人玩。WWE巨星+神奇女侠+死侍以为会有奇妙的化学效应。最后看完就是个寂寞。这片子绝对奈飞砸自己招牌，这三人看来冲钱去的根本没用心演。场面和动作戏都很一般，枉费大家期待
作为偷盗电影一点也不聪明，动作片场面含糊绿幕明显，喜剧片唯一让我笑的是吐槽巨石的光头像鸡鸡
Netflix原创电影就看个热闹和开心呗，贱、美、壮，一人一个角色分走，Gal Gadot和The Rock的chemistry很奇怪，只能说巨石和每个他搭演的女演员都没啥化学反应。
说起来影片中的母亲很多台词真的太像我妈了，都是以母爱为名的道德绑架。但是很多事情她们错了就是错了，不能因为得病而而抹杀掉以爱为名行偷窥之事的行径。我妈也是365天以爱为名的监视，真的窒息。。。影片后程一直在抹眼泪，也希望妈妈们能有自己的生活，不要天天束缚儿女了。

everything i don't like about Netflix again,看起来就是一个大数据机器人制造的的产品。那么高成本 不money laundering真的很难解释。
为徐帆老师量身定制的独角戏，教科书般演绎了一个「完人」母亲，一切都如此中规中矩，煽情意图就是如此不加掩饰。叛逆女儿、重病婆婆、毒瘾弟弟与一位癌症母亲，意料之中地堆砌一些极端而刻意的催泪桥段，仿佛可以看到导演嘶吼着“都给我哭”。人物设计过于无暇，泯灭了现实中一切母亲身上可能出现的烦躁与不耐烦，对于母爱的理解停留于说理与口号，角色沦为了纯粹服务于歌颂母爱的标签。抗癌历程看得出与《滚蛋吧！肿瘤君》类似的情感表达，很难说影片有什么值得挖掘与惊喜的记忆点，灯光亮起，观众只记住了徐帆演技真无敌。
还有谁能比Ryan更能逼逼？没有/寻宝喜剧，让我们跟着主角一行三人环游世界
3.5星。徐帆演了一个非常典型的中国妈妈的形象：家里大事小事都要安排妥妥贴贴，老老小小都要管，给予家人无微不至的照顾，要看到每个人都过得好好的才放心；无论儿女长到多少岁，都是她心中的小孩；她的爱有时候有点令人窒息，但出发点总归是好的，她也渴望一份理解；活了一辈子，总感觉她是为别人而活，自己的需要总是放在最末位。仿佛徐帆饰演的季佩珍妈妈就在我们的周围，在我们的日常生活中，季佩珍她还有点可爱，俏皮，很感染人的乐观精神。这部戏最大的优点就是老戏骨的演技和敬业精神，徐帆/许亚军/吴彦姝都特别厉害，比较惊喜要属张歆艺了，可能是我看过她的电影演最好的一次。至于剧情，像大多数国产亲情片都有的通病，煽情点铺得有点多，但有些情节还是比较贴近生活，可以让观众产生共情，比如李小美听着妈妈语音这段情节设置还不错。
我自己：听微信语音那里共情了，努力不崩溃，为此已经花了一个学期。
