The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 好拖拉好parisien...但是广告片式结尾蛮感动，都是老人熟脸本来打算看个合家欢快乐，结果编剧...

能看出是一部用心制作，填充内核的片子啊！
网大来说确实非常棒了，战斗场面胜在情绪调动，而不是单纯的技术堆砌。当然缝合的问题不可避免，剧本也过于简陋，但简陋不是坏事，去繁就简也是新人导演聪明的表现。奇怪的是花了那么多钱了，为啥收音效果略差？
用非常轻松的方式讲了疫情下的普通人，可是这些事又没有一件是轻松的，原来全世界都要上网课还有日渐肥胖的健身教练，疯疯癫癫的科学家以及豚鼠莉莉真的太可爱了。
以前要是有人说你在国内网络电影中能听到AC/DC的歌，我能一巴掌拍死。现在竟然实现了？制作也太壕了！细节质感碉堡，但有些许遗憾就是主题没抓好，导致剧情架构分散，观感略停滞。不过最后一幕戏还是够燃，网络电影已经发展成这样了，期待与鼓励！

周末喝点小酒 躺在沙发播放投影仪 看一部法国喜剧 真不戳
虽然特效并没有完美，但是视听纯熟，大佬贤训练室四人长镜头，光暗对比以及海边镜头都可以看得出团队的成熟，配乐和配色品味都很好。
和师妹吃火锅的时候看的，要和师妹说话完全没办法认真看。后来自己补了结尾，只记得大概的剧情。如果玩手游应该会更有代入感。
属于法国人独有的幽默 要是中国能把这个题材拍成情景喜剧那得多接地气啊 可惜只能脑补
本人非玩家，对网络电影也没有预期，但本片让我感到意外：诚意制作不马虎。首先，虽然剧本老套路，主线穷困潦倒过气职业玩家坚守信念推倒大魔王，穿插亲情与信任元素，结局意料之中，过程笑点OK；其次，游戏场景战斗模拟还原度较友好，没有不适；然后，决赛第三局最为高潮，编排设定确实很燃，让我这个路人观众都能跟上情绪。最后重点：直言不讳揭露资本方对电竞赛事操纵黑幕的手法：他们全是自己人。
小朋友演得不错，挺可爱！故事有些老套，看了开头基本能想到结尾，节奏也有些问题。不过网大能拍出这么一部动感十足的游戏电影，还是值得鼓励的。这电影比较适合00后的口味，游戏与电脑场景制作得不错，真实生活与虚拟空间交错，还是挺好玩的。
超五星电影，太棒了！满分！一波未平一波又起，国产电影也能演出美国大片的感觉！凭什么国产电影就不行！
放在网大的标准里，确实还可以，起码比很多同类网大，在制作上还是保持水准，主要是战斗场面还是有些心思的。不过剧情基本还是屌丝男yy那一套，算不上太新鲜。父子情这条线其实处理得也挺普通的。
难的的爽片，现在好多电影总是升华和教育观众，难得有一部虽然套路但是就是爽的电影。影片的游戏枪战部分没的说，虽然打得太好太夸张但也没太过，玩过吃鸡类游戏的代入感应该都会非常强。因为男主和儿子的戏份比较重，所以几个队友的刻画不是很多有点可惜，但是从设定上帅哥、美女、搞笑胖子也是全了。现在真的好多片子都在各种输出价值，不管观众接不接受，看的累的不行，要我说，爆米花就要有爆米花的样子。
网大质感拉满，有一处阳光的打灯穿了吧，太亮。本质上一个极其简单的模板电影，一个励志故事，每一处转折和设计都能猜到，电竞场面也没有多吸睛，吹过头了，往下拉拉分，不能因为只是网大就给予宽容啊，质量属实不大行
开头听到每晚八点的叫声，真的一模一样呀。记得去年实习第一天，directeur打印了一个月量的出行证交给我，然后就每天步行穿过空荡荡的老城区去agence。路上零星几家药店超市和tabac是开的。每个药店门口都贴着no mask。 看到结尾，不知道该不该称它是部温暖幽默的电影。如果大家都还在就好了。
这段属于全世界的集体记忆，带着死亡的恐惧，也让所有人都见证了人性中的那些美好品质。
不玩吃鸡，但是拍的确实不错，在国产片里算好的了。7分吧，就是最后学区房涨价，是羞辱全体劳动人民吗？控制比赛被依法惩处，控制房价的人呢？
