The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 有人把赵婷和李安拿来做对比，但是好像赵婷更随性一点，这部就拍的很有纪实风格，不像李安的作品，还是有很多中国文化的影子。其实与其说《无依之地》讲的是美国底层人的生活，不如说是各种底层人生活的缩影，他们对着镜头，说出了自己的故事。不是无家可归，他们只是没有房子而已。
你看起来举止怪异，只是因为你比其他人更勇敢和诚实。动人的不仅是情怀，还有绝佳的演技。

大概可能有无字幕的原因，影片整体给我的感受与豆瓣剧情简介完全不同，我看到的更多的是一种自主选择，而不是被迫。明明可以放弃她的破车，但女主宁可求人也要守护她移动的家；明明好多人邀请她留下来，她毅然上路。在山林中奔跑，收集一个个好看的石头…生活孤独却热爱

虽然我很不了解这个人群，但导演的呈现在我看来还算细腻可信。抒情的部分要是能处理得更成熟克制一些就好了。

整个故事讲得很节制，镜头表达和主角主观的距离感刚刚好，认识这种真实事件对个人生活也有警醒作用
人们选择生活方式，不应该是选择轻松或者辛苦，不是选择有家可归或者流浪，也不是选择陪伴或者孤独，如果只是这样选择，那未免太过简单，那不叫选择，而是顺应世俗去生活。关于本片我想说的仅此。
