The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 其实我没看懂，这到底想表达是什么，多给一颗星是因为这个怪物设计的不错，这导演一开始就把蝴蝶，箱子这些东西不停地铺垫，我还以为是想搞一波大的，结果雷声大雨点小，虽然创造氛围的能力还不错，但是最后给我的感觉就好像哑巴吃黄连，有苦说不出，我都快看自闭了...

小成本cult片，怪物的造型和意向都比致命感应有新意，恐怖表现手法很细节，很不模式化，美国恐怖片习惯的一惊一乍其实太粗糙了。诡屋惊魂，洗手池下面的呼救声，浴帘外的人影，睡觉时候一直摸你的手，仿佛深不见底的黑箱子，就觉得很细节。箱子里能爬出什么？在没爬出来之前，这就是最恐怖的地方

女主角讨人厌得挺可爱，不用带着巨大预设去看，其实也就是年轻版karen，长得甚至还蛮可爱的
伪纪录电影玩的花样越来越多了，从女巫布莱尔到电脑桌面到行车记录仪
预订年度十佳，足够恶趣味，足够爆胆吓，足够反主流，女主的口活儿也是真的够劲爆
深刻，富有批判性，剖析社会与自我挣扎的同志作品已经有很多了。至少这一部给了一个温暖如春的圣诞欢乐结局，时不时还是需要一点这样的麻醉的
制作精良，但外来移民的主题或者女性的主题，都流于表面，没有深入，甚至还跑题了。
