The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 堕胎时负重的书本富有象征意味，但亏就亏在同题材的或者用了同样痛苦的符号和做法的电影太多了，这不是比较好的一部，但确实是细腻又尖锐的一部。
以手持长镜头表现女性的无助、痛楚和焦灼不安，有几个场景可以引发生理性疼痛。

95分钟版。手持怼脸流大女主戏，传统的女性主义表达，拍得很精道。另外看来去年的威尼斯和戛纳都是主打的痛感牌……
目前感觉是2021三大电影节大奖获奖影片中最弱的一部

两次堕胎加上前面许多失败尝试，女主该要多坚强呀。许多场景看得都冒冷汗。

对峙、脆弱之下需要的倚靠、盼望的理解、魔怔与控制，亲情关系的百般滋味尽收其中。在这特殊时刻，拷问它是否也如世间其它人际关系接近崩裂。有那种像《利器》、《恶行》带来的如芒在背，也不乏刘冠廷的彩蛋所带来的会心一笑（：以及，事业批贾静雯真的太迷人了。想说它是疫情命题之下最细腻温柔的电影，但依然需要时间和观点来检验（这里指的是…（恶趣味）部分）。
蛮震惊的 1960年的法国竟然也这么封建 三场堕胎戏看的双手发抖...
全程摄影机怼到人物脸上这种近距离跟拍的方式也挺呼应电影名字，以一种直观的拍摄手法让观众尽可能与女主感同身受还是挺有意思的
