The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 从《乔·贝尔》到这部，宣传期的Mark一直在强调自己想要聚焦制作更多像这样的内容——积极的、虔诚的也同样是有意义的，转型之意不言自喻。不一味地被爆米花、“商业价值”包裹是有勇气的宣示；能够选择抛低过去、实现一种救赎同样难得；这句话是给电影之下的故事，也同样是给现实本身。能在这里看到他对角色诠释最真切的努力和对原型故事的完全熟稔，对传记故事来讲已经成功。尽管以信仰挂阵、让人物重获新生的套路有些冗余老套，故事也可以更加精简，但它是勇敢、诚挚也同样疗愈的讯息。

前半部分不错，后面一点慢节奏。。总体还不错
从一个运动员的身体到一个患病变胖的身体，从不知道要干什么打拳就行的心态到想成为演员，最后成为神父的心态。故事就是简单叙事，没有感受到什么。

结构失调了，前面1/3讲述在冰原上冒险，后面都是俩人在小屋里幻想，不过我还是比较喜欢看末世题材的电影
