经典永流传，但还是注入点新鲜的东西吧！
就从来没在这类型的内容里看到过干干净净的北欧人。皱着脸看完的，一句fokk都没有，笑不出来，不能否认有着强烈的美感。复仇题材能写得让人想要两边都活着，就是好的。不过仇人们在瓦尔哈拉相见了怎么办。
影像至上，文本稍逊，冗杂略长；虽然古典戏剧外加暴走的荷尔蒙，感觉上会很别扭，而且常规叙事和传统表达比较庸俗；但制作绝对走心，一板一眼无功无过，各要素搭配恰如其分，难得的良心佳片。
导演仿佛是高预算版肯爵爷，成片质量和《绿衣骑士》差了一百个《天国王朝》，又一个形式大于内容的换皮莎剧片。

The casting is exceptional, though it inevitably feeds into racism (as it probably was back in 600AD: the bastard is black-haired, everyone else blonde. Desirable women and bearers of kings can also look like Björk, no?
拿仪式当情节，拿风格当表达，当作者过于注重“风格签名”的时候，写下的内容就显得次要了——这部片子完全可以当做作者电影的反面教材。摄影机始终处在无动机的运动之中，以90度为单位的运镜限制了场面调度的灵活性，表演从开场妮可·基德曼的动作就显得程式化严重，横向对比科恩版《麦克白》，强烈的舞台化风格是向内挖掘人物内心的，而本片的风格化却没有一个踏实的落脚点，显得空洞虚浮。感觉艾格斯完全是在过精神北欧人的瘾啊，当神秘不是他作品中心的时候，他的风格就不再奏效了。
也不能说电影拍的不好看，就是不太喜欢，看了一点看不下去了
