The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 整体的感觉想到去年的《绿衣骑士》尤其是如坐针毡的时候 btw 一个自然年内还看了科恩的《麦克白》新旧两版《西区故事》还真是一年看四次莎翁 每次都没有新发现 名著改编太需要与时俱进了 在内核不变的情况下 再搞个古典叙事 真的没意思 翻不出花来就别碰这些了 真的莎翁都得求放过
大气的维京王子复仇记。导演没延续前两部成功的小成本电影路线改走大场景大特写来营造维京人野蛮强悍。投资花在冰岛瑰丽美景并强调个人风格内容显单薄而空洞。形式大于内容的作品（喜欢在火山岩浆上那场决斗戏）

太可惜没有办法在影院中真正/正确地体验这部片子，是绝对有五星潜力的，艾格斯是少数几位不在乎任何艺术妥协的导演之一，他讲的不是一个现代人眼中的历史故事，而是一个古老的世界中一个现在的故事，构建了一个真正的异世界。
拍成了PPT的样子，结果连最基本的故事都讲不好，有点神经病的气息，浪费了这强大的卡斯团
看的第三部柯南伯格，他大概在说两个主题：一是马克·罗斯科画作的注脚——白噪和“器官”（《大都会》）；二是，所谓“normal sex”之外，用现象学那套试图绕过精神分析、权力分析来为“新”欲望营建合法性（《欲望号快车》）
就是太糙了，不管是文本还是影像上，越到后面越看不出140分钟的必要性。

The perfect render of ethnography and mythology, authenticity and outlandishness, OG viking black metal music throughout (!!) in the background and icelandic landscape in the fore. It just builds and builds and keeps getting better! I didn't know what to expect going in but came out mind-pretty-fucking-blown.
