The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 以手持长镜头表现女性的无助、痛楚和焦灼不安，有几个场景可以引发生理性疼痛。

很惨的一部电影，心理和生理都很痛，女性真的好难啊。
导演的镜头美学是全篇最大亮点，利用镜头晃动和景深表现出了很多主角内在与外界的关系或态度，构图上缺乏相关的运用，主要通过演员与演员的距离来表现这方面。
女主角的痛苦与焦虑也压在我身上，直到最后那声“miscarriage ”为止，才算稍有缓解；结合美国时事，真的是“正发生”。
当初爽的时候怎么没想到这出？出了事就让一个无辜的生命承担后果，左棍就是一群不负责任的自私鬼。
即使很多血腥场面被删掉，还是能感觉到痛苦。

没想到威尼斯也开始搞这一套了。《正发生》拿金狮，无非又是别有用心者一手炮制的对「反堕胎法」的驳击。也许它拥有比《TITANE》更真实的疼痛感，也许作为电影来讲它细腻、独到、剪辑、摄影均属一流，但这破事天天拿出来倒腾，看多了也腻歪。
2.5 偶有亮点但情节拼凑感太强，从失序惊悚到温情鸡汤的转变又和试图传达的“瀑布”意象略显割裂。以及魏如萱真的不适合演电影啊，希望导演们不要再用她了好嘛。
结尾最不经意的一句:流产的判定，却成为全片最暖的一处。关于疼痛，触觉的电影
其实这个故事不需要疫情，后半段说的那些才是它要打动你的东西。这里的瀑布就是阳光普照里的阳光，你不知道哪个瞬间突然就明白了。
