The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat. 干嘛要用这种方式去翻拍一部60年前的经典电影？
画面舞蹈很好，女二演的也好，男女主的人设和演技都无法理解。
对男女主角的讨厌让我忘记了这个电影的其他一切。
就好像…因为一首歌买了一盘CD，然后发现那是整张专辑唯一一首好听的曲子…
新版《西区故事》音乐、摄影、服化道、镜头调度均是顶级水平，保持了斯皮尔伯格的一贯水准。在歌舞与爱情的同时，亦糅合种族议题、少年犯罪等社会关切，无奈却在故事情节和主演演技上翻了跟头。
爱好难 爱也好甜，感觉国内的“程路”可以做Jimmy的平替啊。
这个世界！已经！不需要罗密欧与朱丽叶的故事了！两个半小时可算看完了，除了riff的帅脸和anita黄裙子america那场戏，其他部分都很煎熬。

只能说我还是get不到这个故事本身，too white to me
这个年代要拍歌舞片，不太可能超越老版，说实话歌舞的环节还不如印度，加上西区故事的本身剧本就很弱智，所以么就是老斯拍也不能有啥突破。
对这个百老汇经典剧目改编充满期待。男女主表现算不上差劲，可是越看越抽离，最后实在坚持不下去。
没看过舞台剧和61版，但这个版本的歌舞已经足够出色了
看完 西区故事 感觉斯皮尔伯格成精了。有之前版本和罗密欧与朱丽叶打底，剧本上不用多夸，觉得老头已经在玩电影了。在一个手持摄影成风的年代，老头却玩起了轴线，全片没有一个跳轴的镜头，看着极度舒适。有条轴线还是很舒适的，纯粹看戏的心态，而不是偷窥或者沉浸式体验。相信现在的观众也能接受轴线，毕竟网络视频也都是带轴的，跳轴这种高级货那些做短视频的暂时还不懂。等到了Vr和元宇宙阶段，轴自然没了，也就不存在跳轴了。
评分这么低吗，我一个对罗朱相关作品趋于苛刻的观众都觉得还可以啊，这个完成度和choreography对得起《西区故事》了。向来对斯皮尔伯格无感，但不得不说真稳啊！摄影编排和原版的对应度都挺高的。就罗朱的故事再看100遍还是觉得damn you Shakespeare for breaking my heart！（又超字数了🤷♀️fine
太长太啰嗦了，要不是朋友请我看的PGA展映我绝对撑不下去。关键是这个片子有拍出来的必要吗？本身原作就是把罗密欧与朱丽叶一键复制到纽约，改编基础上再改编，可是全无创新。罗朱的故事放在那个时代背景下是可以成立的，这个则剧情牵强、匪夷所思。灯光生硬无比，gaffer扣鸡腿。论娱乐性则比In the Heights差太多。
补完，尚可；斯皮尔伯格任性导演，老牌经典音乐剧电影版。纽约贫民窟帮派械斗+移民矛盾背景下的罗密欧与朱丽叶的故事，男主不太行啊，女主唱得至少不错，印象最深的是老太太独唱那首，舞蹈和场面调度很不错了

如果不是刚立项就知道是斯皮尔伯格的作品，我会以为是迪士尼新推出的少数族裔公主片。跟糟糕的男主比，女主的表现力都能算说得过去了。ps 我不该在跑步机上看这部电影，男主一开嗓，差点给我跑岔气。跑完后破天荒的小腿抽筋，可能是被气的。
与1961版相比，2021版强化了歌舞的娱乐性，强化了剧情的真实感，强化了背景布景的真实感。1961版可以说是大型布景舞台剧，有着浓烈的舞台剧痕迹，而2021版则是带有音乐歌舞元素的剧情片。2021版是现代意义上的歌舞片，而1961版则是舞台剧以电影形式呈现。1961版戏剧化，2021版写实化。
