A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
从孩子的角度，绝对是5星～电影中有句台词，英雄也会害怕，但即使害怕还是勇往直前的才是真英雄，孩子听了真的有触动～
借我朋友的评价：“就这还跟罗马比呢？连马都不如”。
2.5 年度最差真人电影吧，基本就是个无底线低配《罗马》。想不到英国主流电影现在已经到这种地步了，导演要是看了《纪念品》还能苟活于世吗？幸好没去电影院看他翻拍尼罗河，不然又得感受一遍根本不知道该把摄影机放在哪儿的尴尬。
感慨一下影像的力量。是一部相当私人的回忆录，也因此每个人物都简单却富有生命力，感觉像是窥探了一段真实生活。多亏了影像的记录，能让这种本不会被人关注的平淡的日子被写下来。没有把生活复杂化，可能是对自己童年最大的敬意，是很真诚的怀念。

导演夹了很多私货，但好像也无可厚非，不过我们这个年代的人难以共鸣。黑白风格的呈现与影片时而风趣的风格有些割裂，影片也始终难以沉下去。歌不错。
陪妹妹看的，说实话我觉得这部电影不值得花钱去电影院看，这种剧情在电视上看看还行。
这部电影生动有趣，故事性强，可爱的狗狗们帮助人类解决了一系列难题，非常适合少年儿童观看。
Kenneth Branagh非常私人的一个片子，全片黑白，只有在电影院和戏院里才看到了色彩，可见这些对儿时的他有多么深刻的影响。从孩童的视角看待1969年的骚乱，依旧是天真烂漫的。最后Judi Dench看着儿子一家坐在公车上离开的大特写把我催出眼泪来。For those who left, for those who stayed and for all those who lost. 整个片子的组成都是生活中很琐碎的细节，节奏有点太跳跃。
这浓浓的乡愁，仿佛拍给千里之外的我们的镜像电影。
大社会历史背景下的小童家庭生活流。前方的fork不可避免，向左还是右，已经忘了哪个good 哪个bad ，留下的和迁徙的，都有值得纪念的人生。。小男孩演的好！。。BGM用的有点过多，总是把情绪荡上去，没有安静的力量。老电影穿插也不少，可能导演也是迷影怀旧的。局部影像构图挺好，黑白片必须找点优势。。。就，不知为啥大家把这部跟《罗马》对比，难道黑白的形式，历史社会题材就一定要比比？评:3.7星
2.5星。也许导演的初衷并不是为了展现宏大的社会、政治或宗教议题，只不过想透过还原私人的回忆，向经历过那个年代的普通民众致敬。然而，用梦幻的回忆替换真实的历史，用温馨的口吻回避残酷的人性，是否让不熟悉那个年代的观众产生误会？建立在这虚假布景里的故事，透露出塑料般的历史感，伴随着Van Morrison的怀旧金曲，这种虚无的历史感更让人觉得不适。
805｜1.5，从来没见过哪个导演在第一场戏就把自己的缺点自信地暴露出来。航拍和慢镜头太掉价了，机位也是随心而动，加上莫名其妙的黑白（黑白与彩色的转换更是令人摸不着头脑），光从摄影一个层面就暴露了肯尼思·布拉纳愚蠢、自恋而不自知的对视听语言的理解。剧本层面也非常平庸，对于回忆的描写只能用寡淡来形容，不断重复Belfast 只会让人觉得这个写剧本的人水平太低。《罗马》里有一直在重复自己的家乡吗？我都不好意思拿《罗马》和这片比，真是一个天堂一个地狱。唯一值得称道的可能是演员的演技。
台词动辄引用爱尔兰诗人名句的情况多到不行，像作文不会写而引经据典故作高深的学生。爱尔兰民谣和各种插曲多到几乎是一个接一个MV；知道你是爱尔兰故事了倒也不必硬拗那么多爱尔兰元素吧。
肯尼斯·布拉纳，一个庸俗/确有才气/沉迷摄影教材/醉心奇技淫巧/为自己中产以上的无趣童年涂脂抹粉/的自恋狂。
无疑又是偏私人回忆那一挂的，用黑白影像来做旧，儿童视角强调成人世界的残酷，整个执行都毫无意外，本来这个宗教冲突主题我以为会像肯·洛奇一样走写实风，没想到关键的场次规避掉了对抗性，结尾对峙一段过于儿戏了，最后奶奶被留下有点儿唏嘘，当家园不再提供安居的氛围，就要舍弃很多东西。
就好像那些拥有远离故土的勇气又有将记忆中的黑白讲述出来的能力的孩子，童年时代一定都受到过伟大影音的影响似的。

笑死我了，全程都在“这是儿童片不要认真不要认真”“哇人不如狗系列”里来回切换。这不比国产烂片香哈哈哈哈哈
