The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很好看的日本动漫。喜欢里面的人物，情结也好
手持风格、旁白的叙述、法比安一生的故事，都是我喜欢的。
闪闪发光，虽然被践踏、被毁坏，但是在火焰和水流里，都发出那种真的光芒，那是他们想要消灭却束手无策的，那是最要紧，最值得守护的。
全程没有一口气能提起来，精神崩溃，信仰坍塌，千头万绪只为托起二战前最后残相，然后只需要呲啦一个火苗，颓然倾圮。
个人在洪流中覆灭的史诗，在所有的情感被时代异化的时候，个体对自我的坚持往往更像是一种自我毁灭。
前1/3的部分镜头画面表现很惊艳。
除了无限列车是真的剧场版，其他3个TV版(包括这部)，都是从TV版里各自挑了5集剪出来的。
不太同意所谓「断层」的说法，前半段极现代的镜头语言用以完成对于现代性的批判，Found Footage的调用引导视点自由穿梭在历史的迷雾当中。后半段未曾颠覆铺设好的情绪，人物以现代的身份为前现代的羁绊招魂——生存、爱恋与自我认同，因而叙事也最终复归传统，以图呼应内心隐秘的稚拙。
