The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 最后歌舞的呈现其实可以更用心一鞋。歌单还OK，但是光唱歌了，和电影结合得并不好。
剧情听啰哩啰嗦的吧，最后的演出才是精髓，前面加戏好多啊，还行吧，很惊喜的演出
4.5-5之间，笑点没法超越第一部，歌舞美术还是赞，外太空是和马修的神作星际穿越联动吗哈哈。

這一集的劇本就草率了些，不過也算近期我看得最開心的一部動畫了，而且角色形象還是討人喜愛的。
6.5/10，最后的大秀还行，但也比不过前作，最差劲是剧作逻辑不通，狼爹到底图个啥？狼女儿怎么看到爹入狱了都无所谓？最后的追杀简直令人扶额，动画片可以无视物理逻辑，但不能无视情感逻辑啊！很明显的赶工之作。
p.s. 评价都提到了口水歌太多，我不觉得，如果真的想听高大上的音乐，不如去看《倒数时刻》或者《红磨坊》，或许那些更适合你，这个就适合像我这样的小孩子看。
直到老狮子出场，影片才开始进入正轨，最后的舞台剧也很不错，值得前面一个小时的等待。

本片采用类似于李沧东的《薄荷糖》那样的剧情结构，顺着时间线一一返回，从不满现实愤世嫉俗的大人一直到最初的纯真青年。

每个角色都好脸谱化……枯燥的剧情，耳熟能详的流行歌轰炸，和第一部差太远了
虽说不如前作惊喜，但总体还是依旧不错的，歌曲也都挺好听的，故事也是挺有意思的，老少皆宜。不过人物的刻画上不太鲜明，可能是主角太多的原因，走马观花似的。要是能在大银幕上欣赏会更好，等待引进上映。
不复第一部的精彩。纵使原班配音回归，新老金曲涌现，也拯救不了剧情的乏味单调。貌似要引入新人物形成矛盾，奈何这种对立说不通，显得格外突兀。看过了太多“办晚会”，自然失望于本片的平庸。随口一提结局疑点，剧场大亨老爸锒铛入狱，女儿波尔莎竟追随一帮初初相遇的平民？
相比第一部差了不少。但场景上还是蛮震撼。按照结尾应该还有第三部。
