The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 最感人的永远是陌生人的善意，最动人的永远是旅途中的意外。
第一次感受到了舞台剧的震撼，这还是隔着屏幕的感受，在现场的话，非常幸福了！
片长一小时46分钟。视觉+1，剧情没漏洞但不是特别吸引人+0.5，表演真实感+1，听觉+1，创新程度+0.5，给四星。

太敬业了，一人饰演几个角色还那么好看，瞬间切换，好想现场看一次百老汇的表演！剧情也很好，从小处着手，面对危难人类的团结一致，真的很令人动容！

故事的角度特别好 另一种角度表达社会事件后的社会变化 每个人都很善良 / 但我自己感觉略微有点主旋律 故事比较散 / 原来圆形转盘是百老汇标配啊！
挺感动的。在现有体量和形式下做得够好了…（音乐剧本身就很难把内容做得特别深）这个戏本身也像911事件中的甘德一样提供了近乎乌托邦式的美好、友善、温暖。对于戏剧应该如何改编真实事件，和当下产生互动还蛮有启发的。
没有停顿、甚至没有转场，几把椅子，几件衣服，仅凭借着灯光，十几个演员一人分饰多角，演出了一万人的故事。
