Women He's Undressed is a cinema length documentary that explores the life of Australia's most prolific costume designer. Until now Orry-Kelly has been unacknowledged in his country of birth and pretty well forgotten in the adopted country of his greatest success. During the boom years of Hollywood he was the costume designer on an astonishing 282 motion pictures. He designed for the stars like Marilyn Munroe, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, Rosalind Russell, Errol Flynn and many more of the immortals. His films included Some Like It Hot, Casablanca, An American in Paris and Now, Voyager. Orry-Kelly (Jack to his friends) won three Academy Awards and was nominated for a fourth. Orry-Kelly was Head of Warner Brothers Costume Department during the richest period of American film, the establishment of the dream factory and its effect on mass culture. 即使唐家屯人老来可亲得都快成小猪佩琦风了，但音乐一起还是让人买单啊。
片中好几处真的会让人想哭啊，离第一季12年了……
哈哈哈怎会有如此开明、通透、幽默、优雅、可爱的老夫人
我个人十分喜欢本次故事中融入的电影元素，无论是对默片时代的致敬，还是对上世纪片场工作的种种还原，都能让影迷感到一种通过将艺术形式融入作品内容而表达出的谦逊态度。作为这个故事可能的终章，本作纵然在故事结构与制作上都有偷工减料之嫌，但其长久坚持的对于历史的态度——以人与情为本也足以为它赢得一份喝彩
Starts with a wedding and ends with a funeral. An old lady died and a new baby is born. Downton is moving on in all different ways. “I wish you well. And I hope you’ll be as happy as the cruel world allows.”
美轮美奂的质感，帝国斜阳时代的旧日。不同于大洋彼岸镀金时代的爵士乐，全剧洋溢着浓浓、真正的英伦风情，这是属于不列颠的时光。
情怀是好的，唐顿庄园的火炬也传了下去。但是唐顿庄园这种琐碎日常的故事还是更适合电视剧的节奏吧，用一部电影讲述还是有些仓促，太想把每个方向都讲好了，就很有可能每个方面都不细致。
副标题名叫New Era却是向旧时代的谢幕仪式，贵族阶级去往南法处理老太太的旧事，家里让给电影拍摄。一家人齐聚老太太病床前送终老太太却让他们不要哭“I can’t hear myself die” ，戏份不多却完成了成长的女明星和女仆们的互动也因朴实而动人。果然，最有力量的台词总是由最简单的词汇构成
British core最后还是驾驭了Hollywood technique
In times like this, we all need Downton Abbey.
以为会是狗尾续貂，结果又是一场温馨快乐的老友聚会。剧情方面甚至比第一部更好~
延续剧一贯的慢悠悠但多了些起伏桥段。人物多且内容碎，作为剧的周边是可以的。单独作为一部电影看就支撑不起来。几个小反差小高潮的设置，不出奇，感觉更像传统话剧。不过到是符合那个年代的。巴罗的戏份删到让人在想，剩下出现的意义是什么。不过也能猜到，他应该和男演员有了romance 。
喜欢唐顿的一定要看啊。
Mary说Barrow要走的时候，我还觉着奇怪，怎么就画面都没有莫名其妙里就要辞职，后来一想当然是删减啦！越来越能get到Mary的魅力，Henry你还不回来老婆要被勾走了啊！
一个时代的落幕。Mary也许会成为另一个granny，但没有人可以替代这一个granny。
虽说是新时代到来，传承的精神和两代掌舵人会做的选择是一样的，这可能是我没那么买账的原因。
Tomas出场的几次，连背景音乐都是暧昧，结果最关键的一幕给我整个一剪没。但不管怎样，又是经历了一次唐顿的花开花落。
无论如何，都希望每个人能在纷繁世间找到最能显示真实自我的幸福，无论直弯。最通透的老夫人，最坚强的玛丽，最可靠的老管家。
老夫人去世有一种唐顿庄园落下帷幕的感觉，还好Lady Mary完美地继承。
