The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 灾难奇幻的设定好棒，废都野生的世界观也太向往了。诗和响的禁忌之恋。剧本方面跟不上啊，夹带太多私货了，像是跑酷宣传片。音乐必须要给个奖啊。总体下来有点像《你的名字》，但是有点用力过猛。

对人鱼公主故事的SF版再演绎，水没都市上演天气之子式的纯爱冒险，拯救世界的必须是追求自主性的少年们。霸权社的演出依然无与伦比，跑酷动作戏让人联想巨人，作画精细度堪比薇薇，对科学与哲学的指涉也可以与海兽之子一较高下，不过落点依然是be美学当中的普世情感——“感谢遇见了你，我才变成真正的我。”（ps：末日、沉没、天降奇观、超自然灾难…果然要发生在东京才有意思啊！
