The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 几何带来视觉上的分割感和冲突矛盾感，在动车上看的，即使噪音很大，前半段麦克白与夫人的联手行刺还是把我看得心惊肉跳，偏向于动作呈现，后半段相较就少了推动力，之前犯下的罪恶使得后面的悲剧发生水到渠成。惯性与命运。怕啥来啥。
极简的美术风格好漂亮。动作戏也恰到好处最后挥剑砍头的戏很精彩。这样的光影布景，想看全本儿的莎士比亚。三女巫和老人的设计太惊艳。麦克白的狠、疯癫、纠结演得差点意思。洛斯的改编串起来众多人物关系，包括最后，带走班柯之子这个设计也很好的补充了三女巫的预言。
不知道为什么大家对这部电影评价还挺高，有没有和我一样看不懂的，尤其黑白的片子，总感觉表现力没有彩色片好！也许我粗浅了！
I have no words it’s so well made in every single aspect. I loved the witches, the birds, the leaves, the girl in the water, the monologue. Frances McDormand and Denzel Washington are THE actors of their generation. Will need a rewatch with subtitles in the future.
极简风的宫殿以及打光有着十分强烈的舞台剧色彩，而对于声音的运用(放大的血滴于地上与脚步声相呼应等等)，三姐妹恍若分裂人格的展现手法以及面具意象则充分发挥了电影画面的优势。黑白色调更是赋予这个故事应有的沉郁感。
本来很期待，以为会有更多突破，但是除了黑白极简的拍摄其他没有令人惊喜的点，还是《麦克白》。
有些低于预期，更像是配上绝美画面的剧本围读。
这是话剧吗？科恩为什么拍莎士比亚？没必要拍。

在大荧幕看4:3的黑白电影，十分魔幻。全片简直像把舞台剧拍成电影，摄影很美，黑与白之间的层次感把握得好，构图出彩。然而对白基本上没听懂，文言文一样，完全没想到这么艰涩。
不输给《缺席的人》的顶级构图，造形，最绝的城堡
观感不如黑泽明的《麦克白》，《蜘蛛巢城》，喜欢那个三面间谍……
照搬罢了，即使配上了顶级的演员和绝妙的摄影，精巧的置景，这依然是照搬。
