The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 优缺点都太明显了。挺喜欢临近结尾的那个“阴间”长镜头。如果下一部剧作上能摆脱老气，终归可期。©第二届附近映像季。
跑酷作画是好，但看着也没有很爽。
这个场景值得去电影院一看，就是这个剧情有点子供向
割裂感。老年演员和中青年演员表演的割裂、顺畅的长镜头和做作的台词/频频响起的配乐的割裂、结尾恐怖类型片的拍摄手法和现实主义定位的割裂。最有趣的，反而是映后见面会，生动地描绘了当下独立电影导演的生存现状——资本和政府的夹缝中苟延残喘
后半部分比前半部分处理的好，也舒服很多，虽有不足，但依旧是大陆华语电影需要的新力量，是可以被更多人看到的影像内容。

跑酷情节几乎是唯一的亮点 故事已经不足以用俗套来形容了 我的评价是 可以不看
音乐是真好听，画面是真好看（有些掉san画面除外…）剧情也是真一般✋
一堆大佬堆出来的莫名其妙的东西 故事讲的乱七八糟 白瞎了华丽丽的作画

画面好看，但有些特写镜头也仿佛看到了很古早的国内少男少女读物的封面插画风格，非常违和，同时故事空洞到的让人哈欠连天。
