The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 女主被迫出柜后家人对她的指责也很现实，“变态”“不正常”“有病”，真是有些说法还真是“天下大同”😁。
真好看。中途很搞笑（喝醉了）、后面pride戴面具那里真的很感动。最后的领养仪式也很不错（想起面子的结尾）。
普普通通吧，经过美化的镜头之中，潮汕像母系社会一样，确实也就很南方温茶，感觉很香，喝下去没什么特别大感觉。优点是有把那种街坊邻里的恐怖感拍出来，作为一个没啥跟上上辈接触也不怎么会说家乡话的人来讲，奶奶时时刻刻闯进门要教你○○实在太可怕了。就之前看一系列片子下来，感觉电影圈的“Canton Power”也在隐隐形成，可惜大众可能更多还是会喜欢温茶吧，但谁知道呢？3.5归3。
连印度都这么前卫了吗？我们呢？就不说和日韩相比了，和印度啊，和种姓制度奴役下的印度啊。

三星给生活文化展现，让我这个“外省人”第一次对潮汕有了直观感受。开头的一些无厘头喜剧（比如洗手间和相亲）看得很割裂。
尤其最后妈妈突然转变，雨过天晴的过程有点突兀，为了HE而HE 转弯有点太快。原本妈妈的转变也是一个很适合影片发挥表现的方面。
水平不大行，演员的面像过于市井了，11分钟弃剧
题材可以打4星，主旋律电影算是坏了国内市场了，观众太久没看到新鲜的故事了。宝莱坞都能拍homosexual，谁又是真正的一叶蔽目呢。
电影感不强，但胜在真诚。
