【3.5】简单真挚，仅仅讲述一段温柔的旅程。东木能一直坚持拍下去，就是之于一位创作者最美好的事情。
除了得佩服老爷子那么健康，又导又演，真是说不出别的了。90多岁还能在西部这么折腾，拍的还是公路片，真不容易，绝对是前无古人后无来者。但影片故事确实一般般，节奏也太平缓，那个少年也表现平平，没有太多亮眼之处。

迟暮的东木，依旧怀着英雄式的温柔，角色很平，故事也不够新。
【C+】于是东木再一次把《完美的世界》以更加保守、温情且刻板的方式重演了一遍。旅途中的追捕和困境从未真正存在，角色无论正派反派皆是作为特定的类型元素登场，也仅仅只是元素而已，甚至连功能性都快支离破碎。故事上的单调与刻意确实影响观感，但想到东木的年龄，也不好过多批判，更甚童话走向的圆满故事只能是必然。真正重要的只有那位老去的牛仔，那辆驰骋公路的旧车，那场由替身拍摄的驯马戏，那些因衰老而迟滞的镜头，以及被光影印刻的银幕形象。
喜欢里面很多个人物设定。其实有没有发觉？虽然情节很低幼，总有一个很硬的内核做剧情支撑。一个在叛逆期的敏感女孩，一次重拾家庭关系的旅行，亲情和爱。
