The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 用红色小熊猫指代性格中离经叛道的一面，这一点不算多稀奇，但有同感的是每个女孩的成长之路上都会有被规训的过程，她们将小熊猫封印成为大人希望的样子，整个电影要表达的主题是没有问题的，就是对华裔还停留在祠堂这样的刻板印象里，细节的想象力上也比较平庸。

红熊猫是挺萌的 但是妈妈这个人设我不太理解
小熊猫也太！！！！！！可爱了吧！！！！！Shut up and take my money 需要全套毛绒玩具周边，不上院线太可惜了。剧情节奏也都很流畅，音乐复古好听，少女情怀贴切夸大又好笑，5/5。

在文化和传统的祠堂重压之下，如何变得步态轻盈？石之予的答案是：绕过父亲的阐释，与祖先直接对话。
把两代人、两种文化之间的冲突与和解拍得很巧妙、很完整。
华味儿确实很重，但是是刻板印象的华味儿，知道什么是真实华味儿吗，就没有父亲这个角色，或者在发现女儿叛逆之后对妈妈说：看，这就是你教出来的好女儿！
