The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 怎么感觉科恩的《麦克白》不应该直接是麦克白，正如库布里克的《奥德赛》应该是《2001太空漫游》

华盛顿的麦克白是我迄今为止看过最摄人心魄的表演！将人内心的欲望与恐惧、勇气与迷茫、盲信和不安诠释的淋漓尽致！ 哪来的女巫，哪来的乌鸦，不过是被打开的“潘多拉魔盒”。弗兰斯希更是不用说，感觉今年又是奥斯卡女主的强大争夺者，“梦游”那段戏的爆发力和最后“go to bed”带来的震撼让我电影结束后还在回味。极简主义的美术布置和黑白色的蒙太奇再配上极强的摄影，这是一部艺术感和戏剧感爆棚的电影，前提你得耐得住前20分钟“枯燥”的艺术铺垫。

表现主义的重现契合麦克白暴君性的一面，可电影的优点也仅限于此。

太一般了，一直在用全景卖弄陈旧的黑白建筑摄影美学和用特写夸示演技之间疲劳地切换，选角亦不出彩，有黑泽明、威尔斯和贝拉·塔尔等版本在先，科恩出一部这样的新版实无必要
与其说是电影，不如说是影视戏剧更加合适。光线、布景堪称影视艺术巅峰，美学已经达到几何级别。但是吧，这片的文学性过高了，非常不接地气，大段大段的对白过去好像讲了什么，也好像没讲什么，就像语文老师在台上念了一个半小时文言文，好像觉得很nb，但是好像也喜欢不进去。另外，莎翁戏剧下这么多黑人实在让人有些出戏。

挺好的改编，忠实原著，舞台化的处理，朴实。配乐也很正统。
麦克白的一些典型黑人才有的动作和尾音很跳戏 因为历史原因 黑人的现代感太强 邓肯的声线太年轻 科恩嫂真好 画面布景打光真绝 每一帧构图都好
预言的种子埋在心里，等到发芽，结果，再凋落，重新再来一遍，一遍遍的循环往复，既是自证预言，又是悲剧重演。高级的对话，高级的影像风格，不愧是A24出品的，就是与众不同，很多场景都让人过目不忘，真高级。
艺术气息和舞台剧和形式过重 大段大段晦涩飘忽的对白 就很沉闷了。

我就是为了摄影才看它的，黑白的层次真丰富啊。故事也没有太大的改动。
