The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 柯南伯格是真的对（被割裂的）人体有着近乎神圣的着迷，而平和稳定摄影则将这种美感与神圣准确传递给了观众（不管是否被接受）至于表达，不能说完全理解了，感受到了一丝现代科技与政治不太光鲜的链接，以及宿命论式的身体进化悲观论。柯南伯格（化身为影片中男主角）先是悲观，然后流着泪接受。
电影是综合了其他艺术门类的终极艺术，这片子光是光影上的质感就值得表扬
镜头调度，服化道很不错，但是剧情太简单了，作为复仇来说不够爽，还有动作设计拉了。

以为是一部粗戾狠辣的黑暗史诗 结果是一场印象·北欧？
最不可思议的地方在于真就正儿八经讲了个故事，而且真就一本正经地表达男性力量？开始还觉得有点戏谑，慢慢地感觉好像认真了。如果说有所表达的话，值得说的唯有把人物宿命的来源归结为血脉情结的幻相-家族树。整体来看，除了表达有所欠缺，还是有诸多令人折服的优点：叙事节奏流畅，画面赏心悦目，调度出众，摄影、调色、灯光也相得益彰，质感不俗，绝对是更适合大银幕观看的作品。
今年最期待的电影，异景和民俗延续了艾格斯的风格，但相较前作更清晰和“简单”的故事实际表现力远不如抽象的剧情来的震撼
不知为何，想起绿衣骑士……剧场出身的导演是不是很容易就很沉迷这种戏剧感啊。人复仇就会死……

It just builds and builds and keeps getting better! I didn't know what to expect going in but came out mind-pretty-fucking-blown.

不知道为啥北美评分那么高哇。
和看了预告的预期有距离，和预算不相称，在欧美票房也扑街了。剧情太简单，个别摄影还行。

真的有种育碧游戏英语配音的感觉。
将近两年前标记的，实在是不喜欢，像罗伯特的维京学毕业论文。
好个Hamlet！那个丛林中突然拉进的长镜头，最后的火山赤身之战，太牛了。神话和蛮众总在一线之间，祛魅的不动声色，喜欢艾格斯这种精气神儿的片。一转眼又是三年。
