The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 励志故事外加亲情，剧情有点同质化。但效果还是很令人动容，表演、节奏、台词都很好，只是配乐有点满。
而扮演少年、成年蘇樺偉的兩位演員，
苏桦伟的经历本身已经很动人。虽然这部戏拍得soso。男主角演得蛮好的。当妈妈是一场终身修行。
港片其实聚焦这种港人挺好的，能看下去，虽然有瑕疵，比如剧情冲突不够强烈等等。。。
如果大家都把你不当普通的人，那你就当不普通的人
“你就比别人走的慢，但你可以比别跑的快”。努力对抗命运的不公，与家人朋友相互扶持。

只能证明，社会对残障人士的待遇的确很不同，普通人也的确无法感知这种痛苦，光辉笼罩过一瞬，终会散去，留下的只有家人的爱

三星半。或许运动员传记有很多种切入法，但苏桦伟的故事确实要从妈妈讲起。
吴君如真的特别有母亲味儿，电影差点火候，差在哪儿也不知道，总觉得那个情绪既不是克制，也不是奔放，就是差着一口气儿。但也确实是个不错的电影。
人在只专注一件事情的时候就能特别地鼓舞人。苏桦伟专注跑步，而苏妈妈只专注着他。这让我想起了《斗士》，每一个拼尽生命去奋斗的运动员身后都有一个默默支持着他的人，但相比起来，苏妈妈的母爱显得更为纯粹。香港拍起这样的人物传记，叙事还是很完整，吴君如大概能再凭此片拿个影后，年近60的吴君如演起这种角色游刃有余，而她略带喜剧风格的表演更让人心疼。
