The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat. 披着后现代的幌子，讲了一个其实很老套的一体两面自我和解的故事，精致的摄影勾不起人任何的欲望

很有科技感啊，色调很喜欢原来真是在温哥华拍的
故事和 Ali 的演技一样稳。从摄影、音乐、道具、建筑、再到未来汽车与网络的细节设计都非常 Apple，iCloud 变为 iHuman？把传统的克隆人题材拍出新鲜感，另一种生死轮回的转世。在抛开道德伦理的情况下克隆人是否可以彻底替代本体？电影并没有给出准确答案，总之，在人类世界里真正的 “爱情” 它假不了，也是无可替代的。
是文艺片不是科幻片，虽然设定很接近科幻一般所探讨的主题了，但导演志不在此
拍的蛮美的，但是议题已经不新颖，思考也蜻蜓点水浮皮潦草的。
克隆人研究因为伦理问题戛然而止，电影把这个命题放在垂死之人的选择下。若你知道自己生命将至，而生者还有很长的路要走，那么你是否愿意接受被挚爱之人遗忘，独自承受孤独恐惧痛苦，而把欢乐希望幸福留给他们呢？卡梅隆回到家里，看到一切安好，跟孩子和妻子做了最后的告别，那段真的很感人。I love you，always have，and always will

克隆人的技术都那么成熟了，为什么不能将本人完全复制粘贴过去呢？只是重新造了一个拥有自己记忆和所有生物特征的人，那这个技术又有什么意义呢？还是不能达到“永生”，只是找了一个自己的替代品，这种事情给人带来的冲击感和孤独感太难让人接受了，就好像让一个机器人或者陌生人来代替自己继续和家人生活一样。影片在伦理和个人情绪的描绘上做的不错。
当克隆人获取了人类本体的身份，人类本体又算什么？一个类似于忒修斯悖论的哲学命题，一个难以说清的身份关系，以及无法割舍却又必须告别的人生。纵使科技几乎可以改变一切，但构成人类本质的特质，诸如灵魂、伦理、和情感的命题仍是我们无法逾越的关隘。山水空灵，景色宜人，智能科技，无所不在，可我们仍将为自己身为人类的身份而付出一切。
软科幻的人文小品，男主演技太好了，虽然Scott博士和莫名的惊悚氛围让我全程悬着心觉得一定有什么惊天大阴谋😂。但事实证明这始终是一部探讨亲情、爱情，生命与死亡的温情脉脉的电影，看完全片之后会感慨swan song这个片名之贴切。

阿里演技绝了，一人分饰两角，但是我能一下子通过眼神分辨出来谁是cam谁是jack；情绪感染力太强了，能体会那种一个人孤独死去的绝望感，但是家人依然能幸福生活的安慰感。
