根据真实事件改编，从潦倒拳击手到神父的故事。他并不长的一生，却是转折不断，磨难多多。车祸后的神启，让其开始笃信上帝，并献身此事业。导演过于想强调其前后的反差了，重点放到他此前的生活中，节奏又未把握好，拍得并不有趣。
